Screenshot Android With Gesture

To take a screenshot on Android press the power and volume down button at the same time. On older Android phone volume buttons are on the left. Volume down button and power button are often adjacent. It is easy to press both buttons with pinch.

However on some newer Android phones volume buttons are placed on the right. Especially phone with casing, it is impossible to press both buttons at once. Lukily there is alternative way to screenshot with gesture. Before use this feature, activate it in settings:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Advanced features.
  3. Tap Motions and gestures.
  4. Switch on Palm swipe to capture.

To screenshot, put the edge of your hand (little finger side) on the right side of the screen, then swipe across to the left.
